After purchasing the most modern Elektrotex brand mattress production machine, with a capacity of 300 mattresses per shift, and purchasing a Biesse brand nesting machine, the company started the implementation of ERP Datalab PANTHEON™ as well as the LEAN transformation of its business.
Therefore, furnishing all types of interiors according to the “turnkey” principle, which is one of the company’s specialties, along with cooperation with renowned partners from the entire region, is a sure way to the leading providers of unique solutions when furnishing interiors. Better organization, greater efficiency, lower costs and business excellence become synonymous with Hit Design.
The youngest member of the Hifa-Oil group, Hit Design, continues its path of development. The implementation of a new business solution, the so-called ERP or any other business solution for automation or digitization of business represents a new chapter in the development of every company. Hit Design company realized the importance of this implementation, and started their journey with “Infopro” Zenica. The first traces of implementation are already visible, and the satisfaction of all participants in the project is obvious and encouraging for further continuation and future steps on the Lean journey.
The company wanted to use a studious approach to arrive at an optimal future solution in terms of business, in accordance with the principles of Lean methodology. As a result of the approach and synergy invested in the previous part of the project, the results of systematic work can already be seen: long-term minimization of material flow costs, functional division according to product types, reduction of inventory in the process using the Pull principle, reduction of inventory manipulation time, Lean approach to more efficient and more effective production, flexibility of the production location, better customer service, etc.
By implementing numerous socially responsible activities, Hit Design ranks among the successful Bosnian companies that follow the concept of socially responsible business and help the local and wider community. Education at the company Hit Design was made possible in the next three months for two students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zenica, from the Department of Engineering and Business Informatics. The idea is that in addition to theoretical education at the university, they will also gain practical experience in the implementation of ERP systems.
These as well as future activities rightly place Hit Design as one of the most important manufacturers of upholstered furniture and mattresses in our region.
