Donation – Home for children without parental care in Sarajevo

The company Hifa – Oil, the largest private distributor of oil and oil derivatives in BiH, pays special attention in its work to support the most vulnerable categories of the population. Our social responsibility is also part of our business success. For 20 years of existence, this responsibility is special in the year 2022, which will be accompanied by 10 humanitarian projects. The first donation was presented to the Home for Children Without Parental Care in Sarajevo, in the form of necessary furniture – mattresses and beds of the brand “Oblak” for the needs of the complex, which cares for a total of 85 minors in the Bjelava home.

The donation was handed over by the general manager of Hifa – Oil Group and member of the Hifa – Oil board, Mr. Izudin Ahmetlić, to the director of the Home for children without parental care, Mr. Tarik Smailbegović.

“The tradition of our Home as a care service is 120 years long. We currently care for 85 children, and on an annual basis about 40 of them come in and out of the same, which tells us that it is quite a large number of children who change on an annual basis.”

We received the greatest support for our work and business from the local community. We are grateful from the bottom of our hearts to the Hifa – Oil company, which came to meet us and prepared a donation for us, and thus the renewal of beds and mattresses is of great benefit to us, because we raise the quality of accommodation and create a more comfortable stay for that child. Also, we are very happy that Hifa – Oil offered us the option of choosing and the method of donation, and we believe that we have done the right thing when it comes to beds and mattresses.

With donations and sponsorships, the company Hifa – Oil gladly participates in the activities of various humanitarian actions within the framework of socially responsible work, work with higher education institutions, cultural and artistic societies, sports clubs, and all manifestations of a similar nature. As a gold sponsor of the “Race for the Cure” project In September 2021, the company Hifa – Oil collected the most funds on the online platform Think Pink – For women with breast cancer. Through the Leadership School project, it achieves cooperation with higher education institutions for mutual benefit and satisfaction, and in addition to that project, it financed the equipping of the amphitheater of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zenica.
